Dimitris Kalligeris graduated in 2008 from the Biomedical department of University of Thessaly. Then he got admitted at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Thessaly where he got his second degree as veterinarian in 2014. He worked at the General Hospital of Larissa, as well at well-known veterinary clinics of Athens as orthopedic and general surgeon. From 2014 to 2019 he was head of orthopedic department of 24-hour Veterinary Clinic in Piraeus.
Besides taking part in numerous orthopedic seminars and conferences in Greece and Europe, Dimitris has also volunteered as veterinarian at different programs in Africa. He is a member of AOVET, ESVOT, ESAVS, HCAVS, HCAVS-OMON and HVMS where he also got his orthopedic surgery experience and knowledge. Since 2019, he is the head of orthopedic departure of Plakentia Vetericary Clinic in Athens.
