Katerina-Evgenia Karra graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Thessaly in 2013. Since 2013 she has worked at several Veterinary Practices in Athens, focusing on veterinary ultrasonography, anaesthesia and hemodialysis.
Since September 2021 she has been working at Plakentia Veterinary Clinic, focusing on the scientific subject of Diagnostic Imaging.
She has attended Continuing Professional Development seminars on ultrasongraphy and anaesthesia in Greece and abroad and has visited the Diagnostic Imaging Department of Dickwhite Referrals and the Anaesthesia Department of the Royal Veterinary College in the United Kingdom. She was a member of Hemodialysis Academy 2016-2018 of UC Davis.
From September 2019 until May 2021, she completed an Internship on Diagnostic Imaging, studying cases of radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). On February 2022, aiming for further scientific improvement and certification, she will start the post-graduate Diagnostic Imaging programme provided by Improve International in collaboration with the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS) and Harper Adams University.
