Dimitris Timiou graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (A.U.Th) in 2012. He completed an one-year internship at the department of Small Animals Internal Medicine (A.U.Th) and subsequently gained an Internal Medicine Master of Science Degree from the same university. From 2013 to 2019 he has worked in numerous veterinary clinics in Greece, and since 2019 he is working in Plakentia Veterinary Clinic.
His interest is focused on Internal Medicine and particularly in small animal hematology and oncology and in diagnostic imaging. He has attended the online continuing professional development course for hematology and cytology of Royal Veterinary College and diagnostic ultrasound seminars.
He has also participated as speaker in numerous conferences in Greece and published in Greek and international veterinary journals.
